A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE, KANSAS FROM THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 4 OF 2008 HOUSE BILL NO. 2217 AS CODIFIED IN 2008 SESSION LAWS, CHAPTER 163, SECTION 4.
Section 1.
The City of Marysville, by the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5 of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects to exempt itself from the provisions of Section 4 of 2008 House Bill No. 2217 as codified in the 2008 Session Laws, Chapter 163, Section 4, as it pertains to the procedure for considering mayoral appointments.
