Definitions for a manufactured home, mobile home, travel trailer, recreational vehicle and campers, mobile home park or subdivision are as contained in the Unified Land Development Code, as adopted by Ordinance No. 1590.
No recreational vehicle, mobile home, tourist camper park or mobile home park of subdivision shall be located in any area in conflict with zoning or flood plain regulations.
Electricity shall be required and electrical equipment for each space shall be provided and installed in compliance with all state and local electrical wire codes and ordinances.
A park operator shall provide a 50-ampere minimum, multi-wired receptacle with appropriate over-current protection, conveniently located for each mobile home site or pad space.
A supply of city water under pressure shall be provided at every mobile home site or pad space.
All sewage and other water carried wastes shall be disposed of directly into a municipal sewer system when available. In every tourist camper park, recreational vehicle park or mobile home park in which city sewer connections are not available, disposal will be into a private sanitary sewer system which shall include a sanitary means of disposal, the operation of which creates neither a nuisance nor a menace to health. No private sewer system may be utilized without the prior approval of the City Administrator or water and sewer supervisor.
Whenever mobile homes, tourist camper vehicle or other recreational vehicles which do not contain sanitary facilities are permitted to occupy sites in a recreational park area, water flush toilet facilities for males and females shall be provided in conveniently located, well-constructed buildings having good lighting, adequate ventilation and with floors of concrete or similar impervious material.
